We did it. A group of eleven friends from Princeton, New Jersey (and Cranbury or whatever) destined for greatness one day got together and had a wild, crazy idea. Let’s form a book club. Let’s create something beautiful where before there was nothing. A way in which to not just better our minds but deepen our friendship. And I’ll be damned if it didn’t work perfectly.

Incorporated in the fall of 2014, Beyond Book Club is an institution dedicated to pursuing intellectual growth and strengthening the bonds of friendship. It is through the enthusiasm of our members and the connection we all share that Beyond Book Club flourishes.

In addition to pursuing intellectual growth and maintaining the bonds of friendship, members of Beyond Book Club participate in a number of community service organizations, both as a group and as individuals. Most recently, Beyond Book Club sponsored a reading party scheduled through the Pajama Program, where members read to children who were currently living in a women’s domestic violence shelter. The event was an enriching experience for both members and children alike. The book club was proud to have provided such positive interactions with children in need. At the conclusion of each Pajama Program reading party, the kids get to bring home their favorite book and a new pair of pajamas!
